DEstination: Space Resources

We know you have accelerated initiative and inventiveness! To help further enrich your horizons,
Delaware Humanities offers a variety of resources to enhance your
“DEstination: Space” experience!

You can even apply for a S.T.E.A.M grant to grow your own S.T.E.A.M. project.

Full S.T.E.A.M Ahead Grant

Are you a non-profit in the state of Delaware?  Do you have a program or project related to science, technology, engineering, the arts and humanities, or math?  We welcome you to apply for a Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead grant today!

Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead Grants are awarded up to $5,000 and are provided on a rolling basis. A component to DEstination: Space, these projects incorporate S.T.E.M. fields into humanities content. Matching funds are required. Applications can be submitted year-round.

“DEstination: Space” Short Story and Art Contest

Students currently in grades 5-12 are invited to submit a short story or art to the Destination: Space contest for a chance to win some amazing prizes!

Deadline is Friday, May 24, 2019 at midnight.

Prizes include work being display at the Delaware Art Museum, a scholarship to the Wilmington Writers’ Conference, and a meeting with Astronaut Leland Melvin!
